What is a fraction?
A fraction shows a part of a whole. It has two numbers. A numerator (top number) and a denominator (bottom number). The numerator tells us how many parts we have. The denominator tells us how many parts make up a whole.
What is a decimal?
A decimal is a way to write numbers less than one or between whole numbers using a decimal point. The digits after the point show parts of a whole in tenths, hundredths, etc.
To convert 6 1/7 to a decimal, multiply, add, and then divide.
Convert 6 1/9 to a decimal by multiplying, adding, and then dividing.
Convert 6 10/11 to a decimal by multiplying, adding, and then dividing.
Convert 6 17/20 to a decimal by multiplying, adding, and dividing.
Convert 6 3/7 to a decimal by multiplying, adding, and then dividing.
To find the decimal of 6 4/9, multiply, add, and then divide.
For 6 6/7, multiply, add, and divide to get the decimal.
Every fraction, like 6/36, has a decimal form. Just divide.
Get 6/48 as a decimal by dividing.
Change 61/4 to a decimal form with a division.
Change 64/100 to a decimal easily by dividing.
For 7 1/16, multiply, add, and then divide to find the decimal.
